Is the chat up and running?

When I try to access it, it goes like this:

[15:33] -- *** No ident response
[15:33] Your username is invalid.

This is my real username? lol

Or am I spectacularly retarded and about to make a monumental fool of myself?

have a read through this New Forum Changeover/Membership Update

there are a couple of settings you might need to change, but it should work eventually

Hrm.. Your username is your nick, it mustn't like it for some reason!

I fiddled with some stuff, its coming up with the same thing,

I'm not very computery so any ideas what to try?

I know exactly what it is, its your nickname on the forums, which you can't change... I'm not to sure what to do to get around it, so give it time.

You are not allowed to have numbers as the prefix of your username in IRC.

You are not allowed spaces within your name, and your name is too long.

Just checked, only acceptable one is EVLTEK_FBI_A

KL gets cut out as it makes the name too long.

I am sure there will be a way around this... at the moment it imports your forum name into VBIRC. So when the forums try force an invalid name into IRC it shits itself.

i get an error when i change my name to lynette. pretty strange though but i just use some other name though

When I go into chat, the page just comes up with a blank white big box and in the top left corner is a little box with a red x...
