Posts since Last visit

Is it me or is there many more posts in bold than there should be since I last visited. For example, in phpbb when you visit, and leave, and return, all the posts which were then bold would be not bold, unless there has been a post since. However, I'm seeing posts made last week which are bold.. is this a feature in vBulliten which can be changed or enabled? Or is it some setting I must change?

It's a feature. It means if you're accidentally logged out or you lose your cookie you don't lose the unread posts. To reset them all use the "Mark this forum read" link in the Forum Tools drop-down box.

or at the bottom of the main forum page

also i think the made it so that all the posts since the beginning of may were marked as new topics so that people who dont frequent the forum can still have some idea of the new posts

I was going to ask this question too. That was the only prob I had with the new forum, now that that is sorted forum is mean! Thanks guys.
