just wondering if anyone has given thought to having NZHONDAS.com incorporated,i found out today if we do this,we can hire out race tracks and other stuff etc...u cant hire a race track out unless the group is incorporated, meaning we have terms and conditions and are registered incorporated..

Isn't it something like $3,000 to make something "INC"? Then a yearly fee as well?

If we were to do that we'd have to start charging membership fee's

I have the feeling its a lot cheaper than that.

you HAVE to charge membership fees I think (can be a token amount of $1)

you have to keep a full registar of memebrs (name, addy, phone etc)

but it would be good for legitimising the site/club

What about keeping the board as-is, free to post, and then having "full members" as the ones who have paid and the ones that are legally recognised? That way you won't have to keep track of all 700 people or close off the openness of the board.

G2IC.com has a membership system where the board is open to anyone, Normal members pay nothing, but have to sent in a pic or a rego to prove they have a gen 2 teg. Then they have a 'turbo' membership where you send in a donation and they put your pics up and have a 'teg of the month'. I wonder if something like that would work.
