NZH Movie review thread?

Has anyone here thought about having one of these? Just make it a general comment/spam about movies people have seen/going to see

just a thought...

I was thinking the same thing,

Only problem would be is you would have to scroll over movies and comments you may or may not want to see. ie: If you havnt seen a movie but you want to read/post comments on the other movie.

Doesnt bother me, I dont care if I know what happens

na, i think it will be kind of messy...
imagine everyone talking about 30 different movies, you'll have to scroll down the whole page to find your movie

(basically what the above said)

The only real way for it to work would be to create a new section rather than a thread. A thread would become far too tiresome scrolling through countless posts to find the movie you desire comments on.

At least with a section you could rule it so that each thread is titled strictly by the movie title, the submitter would write a review and comments would go from there. I'm not sure if the additional bandwith would be wanted however but it would be quite a nice resource for selecting that movie you wanted to see but were just not sure whether it was good or not.

There may be a little suprise in the new forums which will allow for this, and a whole bunch of other off-topic stuff.

At the moment, such an idea would be pretty messy. Shortly people would be talking about 20+ movies at a time. If you see a really great movie, there is no harm in posting up a thread about it - most people will be thinking the same thing and it'll work out all fine and dandy. It is not like people post up after every movie they see, just seems to be ones that stand out.

Whats wrong with having a thread for each movie?

At the moment there are active threads for meet the spartans, AVPR, I am legend and cloverfield. Can you imagine all that discussion blurred into one thread?
