PMs Sending...

I seem to have an issue with my PMs sending... there's one stuck in my outbox that has been there for days and not sent, as well as two there from today, one mid-afternoon, and one about now (11pm-ish).

Do they only clear out of your sent box once the person they're addressed to actually logs in, or something? Please advise, ta!

Also, curious, my posts hardly ever seem to make my post count go up. I mean, who cares that much at the end of the day... but I know I've made a half a dozen posts today (all of them worthwhile and relevant ), and my post count hasn't moved off 930. I wonder if this post will make it move? Ninja edit: Yes, it did, 931. But why this and none of the others?

kane is correct for the PM sending bit

and they've changed the way the post count works, there are a couple of forums where the posts u make no longer add to ur post count. the technical ones still add, but im pretty sure off topic and general discussion dont

I can understand why making posts in Off Topic wouldn't add to your post count, but why not those made in General Discussion? Stuff in there has to be car- or Honda related and is generally kept on topic and spam free by the mods, so why would your posts not count in there? And from that point of view, if your posts don't count in there, why bother to moderate them? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Guess not, really. Having said that I've been a member here pretty much since the start (on the first page if you sort by join date ), yet still don't have a thousand posts to my name! Would be nice to get there

I guess it's handy having your PMs remain in your outbox until the person logs in... gives you a chance to make ninja edits...

I don't even know why we have post counts There are people with 2000+ posts who post nothing but utter shit, yet seem to be respected... yet there are a few I have noticed with under 50, who make brilliant posts, yet people seem to look down upon.
