Individual Car Owners Forums?

Yet another suggestion...

How would you admins feel about setting up a Car Owners forum, which has sub forums of CRX, CIVIC, INTEGRA, ACCORD, PRELUDE etc.

Advantages would be that the civic owners for instance could find all the info they needed about mods for their specific car in one area. This would also be good for asking specific questions ie "how do you remove the door panels on a 92 Prelude" etc. Prelude owners would be browsing the prelude forum, and see a question like that. Some of us having done it before, would be more than happy to help out.

If youd prefer we just used the existing forums then fair enuff... :smile:

we tried that on the old board, and no one hardly ever used it. so we scraped the idea

mmmm.. ok..

bummer. I remember posting a question in the general forum of the old board, which never got an answer. It was a fairly straight forward question, regarding the 92 Preludes. I feel that if the individual car owners areas WERE used, then this question would have been answered. How can we promote usage of them?

Oh well, whatever turns us on :smile:

I think we'd need a LOT bigger audience to get specified forums like that. As the forums get bigger then that _may_ become an option, but I think GR81 has it sussed for now :smile:

Also I feel that it is possible for us to have too many forums. I'm sure you can imagine that the more forums we have, the more likely it is that people won't read them all, and any questions in the smaller forums will get skipped.
