A Few questions

1. I am wondering if anyone knows about this way of attaching an external waste gate ? They reccomending I use this method on Honda tech. Its attaching the External on to the Down pipe flange right where the internal waste gate exits.
I am not sure if it will flow any better then a standard wastegate...

2.Anyone know if 2inch intercooler piping will flow 300whp.

3.Anyone know will my Vr4 intercooler be able to flow 300whp it has 1 3/4inch inlets/outlets on it.

that wastegate setup should be fine , my friend runs it , and works fine no boost creep at all.

2 inch piping is ok might wanna look into 2 , 1/4 shouldnt be too big of a deal.

a vr4 cooler will flow 300 IF its moded slightly , the endtanks on them are terrible , i had mine stock pressure tested most efficent at 13 pounds, with moded endtanks inlets and outlets then had done again and prooved to be good for 21 hug flow difference , but i guess its a matter of opionion but as they say the better you buy the better the results

im missing something here... if this flange goes on the exhaust AFTER the turbo (right after the internal wastegate opening), then what is the point? how can it regulate exhaust gases if all the exhaust has run thu the turbine fins already?

surely all wastegate plumbing has to be done *before* the exhaust reaches the turbo? (ie, between the exhaust ports on the block, and the turbo itself...)

yeah im with lofreq
isnt it defeating the purpose ?
having it that way is just like having a dump pipe which doesnt control boost creep very well

I think they are meaning having the wastegate as close to the turbo as possible like butting up against the exshaust flange where the turbo attaches?

am i right?

I think when you bolt that after the internal waste gate, you have to siable the internal one so it's always open and so the external will now regulate...

yeah thats like using external instead of an internal one, maybe ull get slightly betta boost control but external wastegates were made especially to release excess exaust before it enters the turbo, not after like factory internal ones. well thats how i figure it anyway
