| Senior Member 5,000rpm (VTEC Power!) | Wastegate Spring change? i would like to change the spring on my wastegate but im not to sure if u have the right spring for my wastegate i watched a video on how to put one togther and they put the smaller spring inside the larger one is this correct? ![]() ![]() this was the video http://www.tialmedia.com/wastegate.avi |

If you want to run more boost, then put the smaller spring inside the bigger one, if you want to run less boost (providing that smaller spring is rated less) then take out that big one, and put the smaller one in.. edit: that or it's the wrong spring for that wastegate altogether.. ![]()

There is a chart on the TiAL site that lists the rates of the springs and shows which colours and combination you need to run. Small goes in big yes but you shouldn't need to swap a spring out. |
