Re: Wastegate Spring change?

If you want to run more boost, then put the smaller spring inside the bigger one, if you want to run less boost (providing that smaller spring is rated less) then take out that big one, and put the smaller one in..

edit: that or it's the wrong spring for that wastegate altogether..

Oh my.

You just go this tuned right? And now you want to up the spring in the gate?

There is a chart on the TiAL site that lists the rates of the springs and shows which colours and combination you need to run.

Small goes in big yes but you shouldn't need to swap a spring out.

What PSI spring is in the new Tial? I have a 8 or 9 psi (blue) spring if you need it.

he just brought a tial w/gate.. and the reason its boosting 2psi more than the spring is because he has the wastegate line coming off the intake manifold not the turbo..

brad get a fittment for it ill sort it

Plenty of the style ones are fine, heaps of my mates run them on their 300kw drift cars, just gotta check em out first.
