T3/T4 HONDA Turbo Kit for sale - TradeMe.co.nz - New Zealand

how could all this stuff add to $1000? what quality would you expect from this?

didnt know where to put this topic.

would this be some sort of chinese knock-off of poor quality? or just a steal....?

similar to the kits you see on ebay, etc

Doesnt seem to be a warranty on anything. youll probably find the turbo will shit itself, the wastegate wont work and the manifold will crack

Re: FI Geeks, chime in...

^^ what?

If you can get a decent mani OR turbo for under a grand your doing well.
That mani is pretty much junk, collector alone tells you that.

Need better pics and info on the turbo, some cheapies are good others not so much.

Lulz a full kit for a $1000!!

A decent t3/t4 turbo (garrett) would set you back close to if not over a $1000. And those stupid chineese masterpower t3/t4s are fucking shit. Mate got one on his caldina, it shat itself after 2 weeks and replaced it with a gt3076R.

On that note, if any one has a .63 trim Gt3076R and would like to trade for a .100trim let me know via pm!!

Re: FI Geeks, chime in...

uhm varun masterpower = brazil..

chinese = china.. lol either way wouldnt touch either with a 10ft barge pole.. if i had to choose id probably take a masterpower..

anyways if you want cheap crap then look on ebay and get a full kit including intercooler for ever so slightly more.. and its even a cast iron manifold too..

Re: FI Geeks, chime in...

Master power is the worst... I should quantify that I suppose, I have seen/heard more failures from them than any other.

Re: FI Geeks, chime in...

Think my mate has an XSPOWER Turbo, it actually had all garrett internals and has been doing fine for 2 years on his drift car.

So I think its kinda lucky dip aye

Re: FI Geeks, chime in...

It basically depends on what factory it comes from in China... Im running a DSR430 on my 25det, for over 10000k's now no worries. They are all VSR balanced etc.. Gets me 1bar by 3200rpm.. Seems to do the trick just fine.

Neither .100 or 1.0 are a valid trim

I would not touch that kit with a bargepole Warren, get NOS.

Re: FI Geeks, chime in...

those kits are ok for low boost. i ran the set up on my old Dseries. the turbo ran fine on 8psi. the on ething that pissed me off was the manifold. the collector was shit! and kept cracking.
