Re: Injector sizings - saturated

howsit going, nice looking mani.

My research has indicated that if you are going to run lowish boost on a big turbo you should have a bigger gate (maybe that is why they are recommending a 44), as you will have a lot more flow to get rid of/not use. - I could be wrong though, hahaha
Correct

Also that wastegate flange is actually in the CORRECT position to the exhaust flow, its going WITH the flow and is venting ALL CYLINDERS (and under massive pressure too)

If the 44mm isn't much more $$ or harder to fit then go with it. Remember 44mm with a 38mm flange is pointless really, (well not the best idea)

About the P&H vs saturated.
if you get saturated then no resistor pack needed, however the PFC would have just as hard of a time idling saturated and P&H as it does not have P&H injector drivers.
Don't worry about all this im talking about tho, it would only be an issue when going over say 800-880cc.

Think Locust2000 has 1000cc on a honda ecu (saturated injector drivers) higher idle and the odd pop on idle but that can be made better with some time spent on it.

Just go for big saturated if you don't want a resistor box, both style of injectors will be driven the same off a power FC

Re: Injector sizings - saturated

I've had a talk to a few others, and looked around a bit myself and it seems (to me anyway) that I should be pretty much golden with the like of 720's. This mainly all came about because I was told that I was going to have to have 880's which made me scratch my head a little.

I think I'm going to go with some 720 saturated's. It's really not too important right now though. The gate however was, as if I need to mod stuff it'll take time, injectors are a simple swap.

Oh and yes I won't be mating the 44 to a 38 flange... I've been told my mani fold will survive haha (fucking better!)
