Re: My Turbo DC2 Integra

its only been driven one time since you dropped it off because i dont have a licence and before my friend drove it he new it was fucked from the way you hooked the hose from the value cover up and ran it under the car to hide the smoke

Re: My Turbo DC2 Integra

here we go back to what I had already told you and your mother.
its a "PERFORMANCE CAR", its not the sort of car you drive to the shops in I built it for the strip.
I had already informed you that turbo hondas require being looked after.
I did not mis lead you in anyway.
I am actually quite suprised with you response to all of this, do you really think if I "knew" the motor was running bad I would have drive it to hamilton twice in the past month and drive it quite often, I am actually pissed off about this mate, I spend months building something and all of my mates and alot of people in auckland have seen this car and are very impressed with it, I swap it and 1 week later I read that the motor is fucked? sounds a bit strange to me.
I am not some dodgy person who just rangi's something up to sell it.

Re: My Turbo DC2 Integra

i have not driven it no one has if you think i would have i wouldn't have got you to test drive it i would have. i would have said something the next day if i lived at the place the car is.

why did you run the hose under the car?

Re: My Turbo DC2 Integra

the hose was on there since it was n/a, heaps of my mates just run a hose off the breather pipe instead of just being piped back into the intake

Performance car my arse. You strapped a turbo onto a stock motor and ran 5psi through it, can't take it to the shops?

itsjdm, take it to a reputable shop and at least get a leak down test done. You can't slate someone right off the bat because some back yard mechanic told you it's fucked. Maybe its is (sounds like it, rings) but until you know, chill.

The line off the vc to ground is more lazy than anything else, this won't cause any problems to anything.

What was it tuned with/on? Ring lands are weak at the best of times, especially if it's leaned out...

hayce, i think he ment the line is hiding something rather than causing the issue... get the car checked out first by a pro... then we can flame :p

I got mine for 1000, just gotta be patient, stock motor with boost isn't going to last long on a crap tune, especially if it has had a hard life previously NA

Re: My Turbo DC2 Integra

like I have said to brad, I really cant see that the rings are fucked it recently had a compression test done and it was fine. also the headgasket and cambelt I did as I was doing all the set up. If the motor was fucked do you think I would have gone to all the effort rather than just build it anyway?
L8a_turbo on here is a really good mate of mine and he has helped me with alot of this build, there was nothing wrong with the car when we drove it down to hamilton.
That motor has got heaps of life left in it brad, trust me I built the car I think I would know

Re: My Turbo DC2 Integra
