I had already informed you that turbo hondas require being looked after. I did not mis lead you in anyway. I am actually quite suprised with you response to all of this, do you really think if I "knew" the motor was running bad I would have drive it to hamilton twice in the past month and drive it quite often, I am actually pissed off about this mate, I spend months building something and all of my mates and alot of people in auckland have seen this car and are very impressed with it, I swap it and 1 week later I read that the motor is fucked? sounds a bit strange to me. I am not some dodgy person who just rangi's something up to sell it. |

You strapped a turbo onto a stock motor and ran 5psi through it, can't take it to the shops? ![]() itsjdm, take it to a reputable shop and at least get a leak down test done. You can't slate someone right off the bat because some back yard mechanic told you it's fucked. Maybe its is (sounds like it, rings) but until you know, chill. The line off the vc to ground is more lazy than anything else, this won't cause any problems to anything. What was it tuned with/on? Ring lands are weak at the best of times, especially if it's leaned out... |

If the motor was fucked do you think I would have gone to all the effort rather than just build it anyway? L8a_turbo on here is a really good mate of mine and he has helped me with alot of this build, there was nothing wrong with the car when we drove it down to hamilton. That motor has got heaps of life left in it brad, trust me I built the car I think I would know ![]() |
