Theres a shiiiiiiiiiiit load of information RE the S2 mani and the victor X.

If this is the test you are referring to well sure it shows the S2 out performed the victor x but the victor X was catching up and is a much better choice for a turbo, think scope.

Seriously, read and research what people are telling you for yourself don't take people's word for it.

Yeah i realise that, but no, it was a book, called how to make honda horsepower, and has dyno results against different parts,

And yes, for some reason the b16a mani had a better curve, not saying it was the best, or made more power, just had the best, even curve, with better tourqe.

Of corse was NOT better for drag, track, or outright power figures. Just not going to need to spend another $700 for something i dont need

Its only a one wheel spinner anyway so whats the point in chasing power?! haha

Gana be a angry bitch to drive  HOPE I DONT tourqe steer off the road..

im sure torque steer isnt what everyone makes it out to be :?:

yeap that was what i was referring to hayce, thats why i said the victor x is better for higher hp, thats when it catches up and most likely beats the S2 one

Lol i dont care, i just want to say i have 400hp per ton (Not exact but close, cant be botherd working it out lol)

About the cams..
Honda tech says

"i think the gsr cams are a more smooth engaugement from N.A. to boost on!! type-r cams are slow at spoolin the turbo on a mild throttle increase!!
but the typer's are for a all out race set up not really a street thing like the gsr cams!! type-r's are better on high boost levels like 15+psi!! gsr great for street set-up under 12psi of boost!!"

Full thread - http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2183716

So i dont know, im getting mixed feelings from everyone, To me, CTRs are good for up top with a good flowing mani, B18c cams are more for smooth tourqe, and mid range, responsive?..

Opinions?

u can tune them with cam gears anyways. if ur not going all out with ur build just stick with what u have.

there will probably be bugger all differance in power on a simple stock motor low boost build

Well Not all out, on turbo parts they will all be quality, no doubt.
But not the block. N im not worried about making more hp over the B18c cams, i just dont want to loose any power using the CTR's.

But thanks guys. will start a build thread once car is in my hands, not in a garage

also search on HT about using big cams and log mani's (or other not very good flowing ones), i think the thread name is something like "loosing power after vtec"
