| Member 700rpm (Idle) | b16a integra turbo hey guys i know you've probably been asked this a thousand times so i am very sorry but im doing a b16a honda integra turbo im only going to be running round 8 pound max so no need to forge it or decompress it but i was wondering whats my best bet for doing my turbo manifold, is it just going to have to be trade me?? or how hard is it to just get my own built off the original manifold??? and im thinking of running a t3/t4 is it a good turbo for just 8 pound or is it going to be too big and never spool?? |

Location: Auckland | apparently t3/t4 sees full boost at around 4500-5000 rpm depending on manifold design, exhaust size etc. etc.. as for manifold... you could go with a TM special... but.. youl end up having to re weld it, and add bracing and a whole bunch of other stuff... some guys on here are able to make their own... most important thing is a tune... if your ecu is chippable.. go with crome and get speedfactor to tune it.. and make sure you get either the factory internal wastegate.. or a good external.. as these are what cause alot of failure aswell.. otherwise.. use the search function and specific to forced induction .. or visit honda-tech.com and search there.. there will be heaps of answers there.. just dont ask silly questions on there if you join up.. the yanks arent too "new user" friendly ...
