turbo F#$%@???

im running a gt35r and just need to find out if it just routed itself??

car runs sweet but not boosting at all now... was kinda giving it a lil boost and all of a sudden felt like it slowed down (the car) when i looked at the power fc and boost gauge it would only go to 0ps or +0.01 on the power fc

car runs like it doesnt have a turbo at all.. blow off valve doesnt open when i take my foot off the gas nor does the wastegate open...

has it just shat itself??

getting my mechanic to look at it after he gets back from his lil holiday..

dammit i hope the turbo hasnt shat itself..

you should be able to see the compressor wheel if you take the intake off the turbo, see what the shaft is up to, see if you can turn it, any play side to side etc, more than likely just a wastegate line if i were to place a bet now.. banzaaiiiii

sorry..

garrett turbo only running 8psi shouldnt have owned itself tho, unless the oil feed packed it in or something, plus you probably would have heard the bearings etc exiting the exhaust system lol

i just jacked the car up and checked the pipes that i couldnt check from the top and yey for that.. the silicone hose that connect the turbo outlet to the intercooler had loosened (spelling) itself, im guessin its from all the vibrations from the solid mounts...

i havent text driven it but ive slipped the silicone hose a lil higher and tightened it up so should be okay..

fingers crossed for the test drive in a couple of days as im leaving aucks in my hack lol

-edit- yup that was it.. lol at hidden pipes..

Sweet hopefully thats it, otherwise get some soapy water and rub it over the intercooler piping and hoses, if bubbles are forming then it be a leaky hose or a loose hose clamp, same thing happened to my car while ago. might not be this but worth a shot.

it would be a massive leak to loose all the boost... but you never know

if it happend once it probably will happen again. Make sure the pipe has a lip on it, and get a decent hose clamp

Yeah make sure it has a lip and use a proper bolt type clamp, not a screw hose clamp. You can tighten the bejesus out fo those bolt ones.

those bolt ones are only good if you get the exact right size, for example you can only do them up a small amount before they are not so round, i have them right through my set-up but all the ones on 2.5" i/c piping were done all the way up to clamp and the tuners took them all off and replaced them with normal style hose clamps, havent had one off yet, 19psi or not
