Latest toy...

Thought I'd post up our latest toy.

The old man has fronted up the cash for it but you know who is going to be organising work for it and getting it up for a few track days & Wangan/SH2 freeway runs...

In Japan it's putting out 558ps @ 1.3k boost, will post up what it ends up making on the tune we give it once it arrives and gets introduced to our shitty ass gas...

By the way, don't worry, tri-spokes and GTTTT wing will be going once it arrives, need to find a better wing and new wheels if anyone has any ideas please show them, I'm all ears!

Nick

The benefits of having a dad who never grew out of being a boyracer and only recently got introcued to wonderful world of Japanese turbo cars, mixed with the benefits of being an importer & scaring him we won't be able to get him one this cheap once the new import laws come in in January

Haha you want them Matt???

Yeah it will be fun, can't wait for it to arrive, ensuring it was sent in a container so the dickhead wharfies couldn't get their filthy hands on it meant it's taken literally twice as long to get here.

Looking potentially at something like this (in 18" or bigger of course): http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=123953061

Anyone got better ideas?

Yeah that would be ace, we've gotta wait to see how much compliance, tune and anything else that needs to be done is before going and flicking around cosmetic money.

You'll be away in goondang land by the time it's finally ready at this rate! Yeah the 32 is fun but this is guna be so much more usable and reliable.

Yeah it did till the slight exhaust on the flange for the top of the downpipe suddely opened up massively on a speed run down the motorway with chad in the car, now it sounds horrible under load. Nice wastegate sound though, once boost finally kicks in at 5,000rpm...

So? Means it's easy to take out and we've got the rear seats coming too so it's an option if we ever want to just slap it in there. Cages from Japan are usually a nightmare over here to get certed or complied with so I'm happy it's a bolt in.
