Turbo rebuild parts hookups

Hey all,

Just got hold of a t25 off a c18det I would like to rebuild, rang Alltech in aucks and they said $186 + gst for a full rebuild kit, or I can get them for about $140 shipped from ebay.
I need to get a new compressor wheel for it aswell and may have to get that locally as I havnt found any in the states.

So yeah, does anyone have any turbo parts hookups and are willing to help a honda brother out

those T25's go really cheap these days - i would just wait for another turbo to come along that is in better condition.

They still go for around $200 for a good cond 2nd hand one and a lot more for a rebuilt one. I got this one cheap and its only gonna cost me about $200 to rebuild it to pretty much new so I think its the right way to go.

I would rather know its got all new bits in it than put a potential time bomb in, or take another chance at buying a worn turbo.

yeah its hard to find a decnet t25

getting yours rebuilt is way to got , personally i wouldnt bother importing from ebay for sake of $50 etc.. waiting for it to arrive then find out they sent wrong parts etc.. it could become a hassle

local is always good , well most of the time

Yeah I would rather support local business. If I was rolling in it I would gladly pay retail too

I figured with a trade discount the price from alltech would be pretty close to the proce from the states anyway.
