just as long as the holei in the sump is higher than the oil level, and its all going downhill, or the majority is, itll b fine.

also, make sure the hose is big enough too.

yeah make sure you have a realy big oil return hose.
i had this problem and i had to change my oil set up 3 times befor it was right. go for a 22mm+ size hose.

Yea well my pcv ventilation is shit haha i dont even have a vacuum on it it just vents to air my pod filter comes straight of the turbo so cant have any vacuum. My oil drain has a standard skyline flange bolted to the turbo and the rubber hose is quite tight over it so it could possibly be to small the hose might try a bigger one, and my pipe going into the sump is definietly at its highest point.

The thing i find the strangest is that my car ran fine for well over a year then all of a sudden this.

Kerry at the motor rebuilders said that on an alloy block like a honda, if u do not have sufficient colling or the clearances arnt quite right then it just gets worse and the oil pressure drops off more and more so maybe the last 3 cheapo motors ive bought are had it and the clearances on the main bearings are shit?
