USDM Orange parklights and indicators EF facelift

hey guys, anybody know if I can buy these.....or

anybody got a colour for painting my claer indicators Amber? I saw an EF9 clean as hell with USDM parklights and Indicators on the motorway this week....made me Jizz a little, sooo clean!

anybody? I know aznmech did his somehow...time for PM i think....

Tamiya model paint works well apparently. Clear orange.

^ Do a few layers so it doesnt look like dull orange = ASS

Go to that hobbyshop on high street sam, red place on the corner across the road from westpac

You mean Blue place? they have moved...the only shops I know of are Toyworld in L/Hutt or there is a model place behind the BNZ...

Tamiya orange huh? and wouldnt it be glossy if I painted the inside and the clear plastic was on the outside?

I did mine with Tamiya orange. Came out average, but thats because the lights were fUxXd in the first place.

You paint the outside or the inside of the lense Chris?

They are a sealed unit so you can really only paint the outside. I have heard of people heating up the adhesive holding the lens and backing together, and painting the inside... but, sounds like too much hassle to me. I just scotched up the outside, cleaned it well, did a few layers of clear orange, and a fine coat of clear. Then cut and polished them.

Theres a blue prefacelift civic around the corner from my place with factory orange parklights.
There must be some more around somewheres, maybe even facelift ones

NZDM pre-facelift came factory with amber lights? Correct me if I am wrong, but there are many out there with them. Facelift on the other hand, haven't seen any factory with them.

i did mine and it turned up pretty mint ... didnt need to clear coat but i didnt use the model paint thingy ...

heres mine .. i did both the corners and bumper indicators as they were clear before:

As you can see it is a bit fogged on my lenses, but thats how it looks on a EF9.

yea pickapart dont have ef facelifts very often so may be a mish to find ay! hit me up with a text when ya do and IITTSS OOOWWWNNN lolz, cant be fooked buying an actual set from the US.. rip off IMO. carbon lip on the other hand..
