where to find Wiretucking guides?

as title states after a real good guide/howto/diy/walkthru whatever you want to call it link with pictures.

have searched quite a bit being on dialup doesnt really help most of the links have dead pictures

hondatech seemed mainly relient(sp?) on we-todd-did-racing which is now dead.

post them links up or your diy jobs (with howto's)

Re: where to find Wiretucking guides?

Your not going to find a definitive guide. Engines are different and so are teh chassis they are in.
Start it, post your progress and issues when you run into them.

The link blazed_rooter posted is the best your probably going to find.

Re: where to find Wiretucking guides?

The only 'guide' I know of is for a DC2 and isn't completed yet. It is also more about the guy showing how he did it.

Here's the link anyway:

id say you'd need:

- soldering iron
- harness tape (similar to insulation tape but not as sticky)
- roll of wire

NOTE: only cut if you absolutely need to lengthen something. most connectors and plug can be squeezed back through the firewall and the headlight connectors can be pulled into the car and back out the side.

Re: where to find Wiretucking guides?

Unless your a DIY kind of person, just ask someone to do it for you. Its probably better to pay someone.

Re: where to find Wiretucking guides?

Its electrical tape anyway ain't it?

Tape's only used to seal conduit joins or somthing, using it on soldering joins is beyond nasty...

yeah that what i meant. harness tape for wrapping the plastic conduit stuff. and of course heat shrink for soldered wires.

ive wrapped more wires up in bundles than lengthened them in the EF9. heaps of shit can be pulled back through the firewall.
ie. fusebox and headlight wiring.
