CL1 Euro R Carbonfibre Bonnet?
Hey all,

Was just wondering whether anyone in NZ sells the accord carbonfibre bonnets?

Have seen them around about 6 months ago, but no luck trying to find one now.

I've had a look at carson JDM, but they seem to only have them for CL7

Got mine from Autopassion ^^

Carson did have one for CL1, did you ring them?

Mine is getting replaced too

Just get xploit's one. For Accord CL1 is easy to find, try finding for Torneo hahaha. It's hard to find and expensive.

Cheers for all the replies, had a lil accident with my bonnet (has a dent in it) so was considering my options as to whether to get a carbonfibre one, or get the dent fixed up and painted. As I found out today, the latter is only going to cost me a couple of hundred, so Im goin to do that.

The accords look mint with the carbon bonnets though...and I want one sometime!

Hopefully if I get the summer job I want up in wellington they will pay better, and may be able to get some new wheels and a carbonfibre bonnet then

Any garage with this service?

Currently driving a black 2002 Euro CL1

I would of thought it may have been cheaper for you to import from Japan rather than New Zealand? New Zealand prices are quite steep.

Will check around. thanks for the heads up. a normal custom CF bonnet will cost upwards of SGD1.5k on my side.

And with about only 10 CL1 left in my country, pretty everything has to be customised. I believe there are more EG6s with a H22A engine then the original CL1 itself

By the way, any idea about the weight of the CL1 rims, been trying to find it but there is no mention whatsoever even on japan websites.

No Im not sure how much they weigh sorry, mine still have tyres on them all, If I get a chance before I put some semi slicks on them, ill see if I can weigh one.

you can also try, redlineperformance.co.nz i think the bonnet will cost you round $500 i think they said. They didn't have a cf4 one, might have a cl1.

CF4 and CL1 bonnet shape are pretty much identical I believe.

(Accord -> Accord and Torneo -> Torneo)

surely they wouldn't be considering headlights are different shapes, can someone confirm that a cl1 bonnet would fit a cf4 bonnet chassis please?

a cl1 accord bonnet will fit a cf4 accord

a cl1 torneo bonnet will fit a cf4 torneo

they are not interchangeable between the two though
