I ahve done mine using some Duplicolor car paint in the little cans, pretty happy with it, its a cross betweeen the 2 bronze 1s I posted last page, but I have to clear it yet, which is what the 2nd guy did, and it looks mint sam ps, not saying the 1st guy didnt, but look at the gloss on that 2nd 1!!!

Location: Christchurch | Re: ROCKER COVER IDEAS? Duplicolor Good stuff. Most people I know that have done their rockercovers have used it. Vtec_junky used the bronze on his rockercover and it looks tyte. Even has that wrinkle effect.

Well, after stuffing it up trying to rush it on a cold night in the shed and water formed on it, I rescued it and dried it with a hairdryer + Warmer drawer on the oven, lol gave it another coat on a cold morning, and it went milky... Final coat after I heated the thing in warmer drawer then rushed out side and used last drops out of can and got the desired result...phew! came out OK, Big thanks to CIVTEC who just gave me the shaved cover after he and his flatmate did all the work, maybe I should have given it a final wet /dry but meh, its ok, still needs a clear, its kinda Satin Bronze at the moment thoughts? ![]()

| Senior Member 8,000rpm (B Series Redline!) | Re: ROCKER COVER IDEAS? didnt mask up the oil cap hole, spark plug holder thingie holes, plug holes or the earths sam, could have trouble getting screws into them and not fucking the paint, plus the engine earths wont work as good still looks better than it did on thursday

Location: Upper Hutt | Re: ROCKER COVER IDEAS? Heh, while I am at work, I grabbed a Razor and attacked those parts as the paint is only a day or so old... came off good, ill run a oil cap over it with some thinners to clear the oil hole... must remember that...hah!
