Race timing

Greetings

Has anyone had experience with timing for motorsport? We have software that is old and not user friendly, and doesn't interface with the hardware so we are looking at updating it. The events are clubsport, e.g. autocross, hillclimb, rallysprint etc.
Any recommendations on software and hardware would be appreciated.

we use Tag heuer at Taranaki car club works good once you learn how to use it
aparently a bit french Ha Ha
