I made my own. Not too difficult if you get someone who knows what they're doing...

Just use angle iron and "U" clamps. Piece of piss...

I have seen real ones that just bolt on but for +$300 its just a joke.

I've been thinking the same thing.

I'm gonna buy a crappy tripod off trademe, cut the quick release head of it and rangi it up some how. I reckon that'd be the easiest way.

For $30 and some hose clamps, can't go wrong. As long as you get quick release you'll be sweet.

You could try Greg (INTGRR). He has quite a cool set up in his integra. From memory it clamps itself to the cage. PM him and ask if he could send yo a photo - might be of some use to you...

Piece of aluminium cut to length, and two clamps to hold it on. Drill a hole in the middle of it and attach camera. Easy, and more importantly, NO WELDING THE CAGE. Plus you can move it to under the dash, looking back from a pillar, that kind of stuff. I'd take a pic but it's too dark. I think there is one on my build thread if you can be bothered trawling through it...

*edit* Yep ,there is, on page 5.

Yep J's Racing make them. For Roll cages OR pillar bars. They are indeed $350 odd. 5 or more $320

Warning - Very Large Images!

Our one is pretty agricultural but works well.

This is for mounting on the harness cross member.

Approx 12cm of rollcage tube cut down its length with about 1/3 of it left.
Welded a 6mm bolt thread to the outside in the middle.
Got a piece of thin rubber (bike tube) and placed between cage and mount.
Mounted using stainless hose clamps at each end.
We did this so we were not required to change our cage homologation docs showing any mounting additions (NOTE: we remove it for scrutineering).

Would post photos but car still in the workshop.

Cheers
