H22a Baffled Sump

Made another baffled sump today. I made one for Ian (americ_ian), and one for myself also, but i have a spare one made up now also if anyone is interested. It consists of the main plate having an opening for the pickup, of which the said opening has pressed sides. The outside edges of the main plate are folded three down and one up. There is also a second deflecting plate that is designed to direct oil - heading back from the opposite side of the sump - into the opening for the pickup.

Have you ever tried making a trap door sump? they are relativly simple and far more effective than just baffling. Also does that sump have another windage tray ?

No haven't tried a trap door set-up... must look into that. What do you mean another windage tray? If you mean "does that deflecting plate miss the windage tray?" Then yep - it missis.

How much do you want for it, I can supply an exchange sump if necessary or even just supply me with the baffle and I will weld it in.
Cheers
