whats the problem bad? is it the wrong turbo or just "tuning issues" that some cars have?

Nope, my son pwns me, and I've still got to paint our new house at some point. We're hoping to move just after Christmas. Hopefully my car will be gone by then and I'll have a basher ute to run round in.

But what would you guys prefer to lose to, a V8 Hilux or a V8 Navara? If Ceasar's going to fight the cubes game I might have to fight back.

[edit] Of course you wouldn't be losing to it for a couple of years. [/edit]

Neither, issues with the dyno itself which is about as unlucky as Lith could get

ha, the maxima is a 2.0 liter dude!
no need for big V8 ! lol ! what are your plans anyways ?

im going to run the new setup in the maxima im doing now for another year or so and move on to the VQ35DE, on another note i have a spare VQ30DE-K sitting here, wonder if i could drop that in to one of your sentras here ? been done in the states but not to up on the differences here with the cars. good engine though, 220hp stock and light. bascially just an improved version of the engine in my A32 maxima.

Lith what is going on ? pm me your address will mail you a lucky rabbits foot !

Denis - The turbo seems perfect, the injectors and pump are right, actually - everything seems right, aside from the fact that because the injectors are working I can't start the car due to fouled plugs ops:

Speedtech are a little tied up due to unforseen circumstances (those who know me and the progress of the build of this car, unforseen circustances are very good at coming up) which is putting a temporary hold on the whole tuning thing. Its only pushing it back a day, they are taking it tomorrow so all is not lost - just an inconvenience for both parties. Probably them more than me, considering the amount of work they have on.

Just as an additional laugh - I just was given the goahead just before to get Moby over to Speedtech so Andre can start looking at it, so I called the tow company to pick it up. Just (in the duration of writing this) got a call back saying the truck was there and the road that the place the car is on is currently closed for temporary road works, so the truck can't get at the car. Fucking lol

Anyway, completely off topic as I obviously won't be racing....

Well once the Civic is gone I need to get a ute, so I'm thinking a 1UZ-powered Hilux or a VH41-powered Navara should do the trick. I think a 13-sec Jap ute would be a bit of a laugh, and both engines take to forced induction quite nicely too once that gets boring.

If not then I'll just go the tried and true Commodore ute route, but I haven't decided between a stroked V6 with a blower or a big V8. Problem with going to a Commodore down here is I'd lose one day at Masterton each year since the first day is always Import-only.

I'm known for being unable to make up my mind when it comes to choosing a modification path. ops:
