| Having been for a ride in this car I can see this car being the all motor street car to be watching this season. It makes my current whip seem like a daihatsu. Believe me, this thing is much lighter then the civic, deanis even has a little party trick he likes to impress people with

Location: Palmerston North | Wow! I am loving the attention to detail with the intake manifold! Well written! Also i think there is a little falicy with the size 45mm being too small, as its all about air velocity, an bigger doesnt always supply this. Are you using chokes at all? classic example. remember 45mm quads works out to somewhere over an 80mm individual. (i'm too lazy to recalculate this at the mo) Think how much slower the air will be travelling in an 80mm single throttle, compared to stock, this is why people have such a hard time getting the quads up especially in midrange, but i think it works well with using the 45s.

| Senior Member 8,000rpm (B Series Redline!) | Hopefully the old beam-axle rear end and torsion bars are up to the job of controlling that nasty little motor, judging by the Beyond CRX and the old Quest-4 one then I'd say it'll be fine. This thing is going to be soooo fast! |

Location: Waitakere | my rear end is quite stiff now. beyond did have coil overs in the front but went back to torsion bars with custom koni shocks.

| Member 700rpm (Idle) | i know this is an old thread but bump for a damn nice old skool crx, if your thinking about suspension upgrades torsion bars, camber caster plates and Tein suspension is avaliable if you know where to look. (not cheap though) but all really good quality stuff i suggest 29mm torsion bars, http://www.upgrademotoring.com/qwikr...Torsion%20Bars Camber Caster plates if you might need them http://www.redpepperracing.com/forum...c=33612&st=180 Tein suspension, check it out, valveable and spring rate to whatever you need. http://www.redpepperracing.com/forum...3&st=0&start=0 |

Location: Waitakere | cheers man. ive got about another tenth by changing the rear spring to something a bit harder. ive played around with a few spring rates and settled on 500lbs. i had 1000lbs in there but i drive my car to work everyday and it was a bit hardcore.
