Re: How far your cars have come?

Bought the facelift da6 in 2002 with about 135,000k on the clock from a yard for $6,875 including warrenty.
Here it is close to how i bought it, all I had done is polished the car (little lowered in the front cause I added coilovers, but not in the back yet hehe)

Then took the stock B16A2 out and put a B18CR in it, make it look a little better with mags, lowered, front kit, colour matched side mouldings etc, clear tails au!

Then before I sold it I swapped the modded B18C(kelford cams etc) from the EJ1 I bought into the da6 along with mags.
This how it looked when i sold it.

Then this is how it ended up after I sold it.

This is the coupe when i bought it, not in a very good state. Massive kit that was cracked, seezed rear brakes, leaking water inside and in the tails, blowing fuses because of water. Bolts missing or wrong size, stripped in engine bay, I could go on and on and on and on....

Just loving the clear tails with the "PIMP R" badge.

Complete with blue interior, leaking with water in it, fogged up headunit display from so much water. Thats why it came with the yellow leaf to hide the stingy smell of damp car.

Here is some pics of it now.

No more blue interior, Sir gauges, bucket seat and no SRS wheel. (plus 1000's of other small things fixed.

Sorry thats enough pics

This will go down like a lead baloon with the 'pureists' but, Integrated4Life ...
Your ITR (the pic where it's rediculously boned on it's arse) is how an ITR should look.

Best semi-stock exterior and stance I have EVAR seen !

Re: How far your cars have come?

gunna ruin the thread with arguements now but no, an itr shouldnt be on its arse with very little suspension travel.. its designed for track use, so running such negative camber with very little room for movement on huge rims isnt really what an itr is all about.. maybe an sir-g lolz

BUT that itr looks FUCKIN MINT! shame you sold it! you have a talent for dressing up cars

QFMFT!! That ITR Dan had actually made me warm towards the Facelift DC2 shape. Was also the first Champ White ITR I dropped my jaw for

When I get my adjusties in I aspire to be that low

Sweet Torneo man. Exactly how I wanted my Accord to look. Except I was going to get CE28s and polish the lips (Is that blasphemy?). Multispoke mags just work with them.

But it never will because I'm moving to Aus soon.

Yea i know exactly what you mean bout ITRs being track cars etc, 4wd turbs for rally etc. Thats true but its not like im gona take my ITR around the track anyways. Im just into street style, not hardout show, not hard jdm....just nice and clean look.

Yea sorta miss it, not that much tho. I guess i just have a hobbie for dressing up cars.

Thanks man, yea i just like it clean and low. Lip kits ftw!

Basically, get lips (dont want a rear coz it makes it look too chubby). Like it slim and low, then tints, wheels, sounds, debadge, adjusties and im set
