Re: some work ive done

good work man, i like dark moody photos like the top car ones, nice work with the timelapse and lights in the background too
bein a former graphic designer ya may wanna think bout the blue goop dripping off your camera on the back of your business card, doesnt quite go with the modern look your going for
i need a better bloody camera!

I really like the first one (person running towards car) is there a concept behind that or just something you saw? Looks funky!

Re: some work ive done *new pics on page 2*

heres another one i forgot to put up... (by the way its 4 photos put together to make this photo and it was for my selfportrait assignment)

to mrs xploit that top photo is actually part of a series i did called "hanging with my sister" for an assignment.. the assignment was covering movement.
too thirdson my camera is a canon 40D and the lense i have is the efs17-85mm ultrasonic with image stabilizer (lense that comes with camera in a kit)
i really want to save some money to buy another lense either a EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM which is a telephoto zoom lense or an EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM ultra wide zoom lense lol so expensive for camera gear though...

Thats the lens I want...its so amazing! Most of the time I use a canon 60mm fixed docal length lens. I quite like having to make myself move to get what I want in the frame. I only have the crappy 18-55mm standard kit lens which I hate and also a 90-300mm tele, which I don't tend to ever need to use. I have a canon 20D.

yeh definately EGD some nice shots there, let me know what camera you and gear you get we can go take some pics.. hope fully my civic will be tuned, wof'd and reg'd and we can go for shoot lol..

to mrs xploit yup really want that lens, i like how it distorts at different angles and can give different perspectives to photos.. have you found a price for that lens at all??

Re: some work ive done *new pics on page 2*

looks like your on the right track, for the night shots try stay away from the big contrast look, the pics are way too dark as is, lighting is the key, but im sure later on down the track some external flashes come into play, i just got myself another speedlight, so see how that helps out on a car shoot....

for the multi shot pic of you working on the car, the only thing thats not working for me is the amount of clutter on the foreground, composition looks good on that on

As for the L glass comments, you definitely don't need L glass for car photography, well not for photoshoots.....

for car shoots try work with angles that will compliment the car also, for eg if its a VIP sty car try get real low and exaggerate the low stance
