Haha, check the D in "Post Up Honda Tech's Whore"

Thats potential.

Looking really good Jase, glad you got stuck in straight away.

Hoping your going to gobsmack us all when you decide which engine your going to use. Do you think you will keep the exterior black?

If I didnt have the Euro, I would rock one of these.... In black too.

Let me know when you finish the build if you want to swap this for two Austins

Re: Horny_Devil's EG6 Build - The Beginning of a Long Long Road

Update:
  1. Today i swapped over the other corner light that i picked up yesterday and adjusted the headlights so they are nice and even, was dark when i finished so no pictures of that
  2. Next thing, seeing as it was raining was to start to swap the wiring over in the dashes i have sitting in the shed. One is from the Red EG and the other is a black dash out of a coupe. I'm going to use the black dash but the coupe was auto and had airbags so i decided i would swap the wiring looms over. that wasn't to bad, I'm just hoping that the plugs all match up to the car loom

    Dash ready to go in:

    Old dash wiring:
  3. Couple of random pictures:

Center console with gauges in it, and the birds nest of wiring in the back, its actually quiet well done and only requires the sensors and cigarette lighter to be plugged in to work.

and the black door card out of a coupe on the red door which is going onto the car at some stage

Cheers Jarred

well i hope ill gobsmack some people, ill probably gobsmack myself as i really have no idea what will be going under the hood, i want to sort out the suspension/brakes and exterior/interior first. as for the exterior, i doubt it will stay black but you never know. Colour is another one of those things that i havent decided on, same with what suspsnsion ill be running

Nice, plans always change (re: my build thread ) but im sure you'll make the right choice.

Are you going to keep the peice on your dash that is grey or convert it to black?

Those door cards are bloody nice too!

I love this build already

Thanks Marc

the auto gauge gauges don't have plugs on the back of the gauges as ID expect they have threaded bolts which is where your suppose to connect all your wiring, in this case one is ignition power, one is illumination (headlights), and the other is the sender for the gauge. The red bits are just circular spade terminals that we crimped to the end of the wires.

Hope that helps

Ive been doing a lot of reading so i kinda know the direction im heading in for the suspension and brakes but like you said things always change, deals always pop up.

The grey bit doesn't come in any colour but grey which is a real shame as it kinda takes away from the nice grey dash. for now it will just stay grey.

and yea the coupe door cards a a little bit nicer than the hatch ones as they have a built in tweeter hole, this is whats currently on the car:

Oh, is the tweeter hole the only difference? Cant say I have seen many eg door cards anyway. Still looks the part.

Would pro painting the dash be an option?

yea pretty much that is the only differance.

and i dont know what im going to do with the dash at the moment, might consider doing something to it later on down the track but at the moment there are bigger more pressing things to get done

Re: Horny_Devil's EG6 Build - The Beginning of a Long Long Road

haha You have a kid - a nice black EG6
now pimp him out .... I didn't really see too much of a problem with the B18C, and seeing as you've already got it and its in there, would be able to spend money for another engine on it and make it really go haha but I mean if you're thinking of going for something bit more serious i.e K series, Kseries+boost or something, then I applaud you and support the idea!! Go hard Jase!
