Re: PROJECT KUMARA (ef3 zc turbo), pics of damage...56k no no

Most places will cut that rail out and weld in a new one for about 150-200. I had two of mine done for 300 after the past owner was a muffin headed fuck and jacked the car up off them.

You are meant to cert the repair, but you may be ok.

Re: PROJECT KUMARA (ef3 zc turbo), UPDATED 12/9/08

O man, rust galore. Good luck repairing it all. I'll be interested to see how you get on with the de-loom, am currently starting on it with the EF9. What are you planning to do with the fusebox?

Re: PROJECT KUMARA (ef3 zc turbo), UPDATED 12/9/08

Painting facelift body parts black is a waste of a good car. Damn yanks and their love for unpainted carbon . The black mouldings etc were generally only seen on the lower spec models. However, with a flat (non metallic) paintjob like that I reckon you could pull it off... but would defnitely need to be slammed. You could even two tone, using the side mouldings as a splitting line, would work nicely. Some EF8s came like that.

i am going with the almond cream, but it will be a matt colour, and i guarantee you it will be slammed lol

but ill stick with the matt black bonnet, bumpers, strips, and spoiler

Why? Because you dont like it?

I think civics can look good with black bumpers, but do the car a favour and paint the bonnet the colour of the car. Mat black just makes it look cheap
