Re: itsjdm's dc2 turbo build

holy what the f#ck, big numbers... is it in 3rd or 4th gear.. i know the bottom says 4th but the road speed only read 150 .. does that go up to 14 pound? would be looking at around 210 with 8PSi judging by the graph..

your running t3 t4 turbo eh.. is that boost creep ? *edit* never mind just had a good look at your first post again.. running t3/t4 on ssauto /OBX mani.. definately boost creep..

What i was thinking, Definitly nice numbers, are you going to run it 14psi daily? i would run around 8psi to at least have more longevity.

Does that dyno read high/low compared to others?

Re: itsjdm's dc2 turbo build

supposedly low.. and as i said.. i think he doesnt have a choice about the boost i reckon its creep.. due to the manifold

unless someone else has a better theory? as to why its running 14PSi on an 8 PSi spring

Re: itsjdm's dc2 turbo build

The reason for the over boost is because of the flange from the manifold is to small for the waste gate so i have to get it made larger and bring it back to them. For the mean time they have put a limiter on the car at 6500 so thats 190kw at 6500 still goes pretty good and that says its around 8 psi at 6500

the car runs great tho they also did a road tune for a hour

Unhappy Re: itsjdm's dc2 turbo build

The reason why it is crepping is crap manifold design I have never seen one of thse manifolds work (they cant look at the design. pretty hard to get pressure to flow in the wrong direction) Any way that is huge number for a standard engine. Good luck

Re: itsjdm's dc2 turbo build

when the manifold is done it will only be running 5 - 8 psi not 14.

Re: itsjdm's dc2 turbo build

thats good number if its at the wheels man. i always though 200kw was good.

i had that same manifold aswell, and had boost creeps. maybe you should just get a new flange on the front?

if ur going to keep the car for a while, put some money aside for a custom steam pipe manifold.

Re: itsjdm's dc2 turbo build

I've had much too much glenfiddich, am I seeing 250wkw and 700nm of tq here? That seems very good for what you have in that bay.

What injectors and map is it on?

Re: itsjdm's dc2 turbo build

gsr injectors on the dyno u can see the boost spike at 7500 so the limit is safe at 6500 will i get it fixed

and if anyone wants to no the price for the crome tune it was

Crome chip was $100
dyno + tuning was 295 and that took 2.25 hours bit more then normal they said next time i go they said only 1 hour

They also did alot of other things and that cost $210

Re: itsjdm's dc2 turbo build

If they have tried to tell you it made 250wkw, they are pulling your tits. Its running 390cc injectors which are tiny! Early evos have 510cc injectors and ive never seen them make 250wkw on them...
