| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | well seen we have this nice fresh build thread part to the forums i thought i would cure my bordem by compacting my old spamd build thread into a shorter version. To start off my decision was made to turbo my car because a country bumpkin mechanic over filled my engine with oil. it was picked up by myself immediately but the mechanic ensured me there would be no probs.. wasnt the case.. oh well, after being black flagged at a december track day for being smokey the bandit it was time for the car to get some htown style shed time!! firstly a couple of pics of the car in the shed minus its heart ![]() ![]() car used to be somewhat of a show pony and ive always been a fan of loud music, made the pods myself with the help of my fibreglass man Dave from ICE car audio who also made the tray (which i spent f**kin hours sanding, and is for sale if anyone is interested pm me) ![]() ![]() |

| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | Re: Juddys Turbo ITR tipical htown build was taking several weeks longer then planned but eventually got the motor back and in the car ![]() ![]() total cost for engine completed with all parts: $6,632 including : skunk2 valve springs and retainers cp pistons and eagle rods ??? block gaurd arp headstuds new valve guides and stem seals (and 1 new inlet valve) water pump, camblet, tensioner, full gasket set fully rebuilt bottom end and head, usual rebuild extras.. think thats about it.. and after more and more waiting mainly for the ol fabricator magician that is actiondan, which is a very controversial name because with Dan there is little action, but you cant rush the man, his work is amazing, will let the pics do the talking (shot lance) ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | Re: Juddys Turbo ITR spose i should update this again cause i said i would follow up with pics, sorry no pics but not much new to see, ive removed all the rude stickers from the car except the FBI ones (well the main ones anyway). sold the re01-r's in search of something stickier and now have 2 sets of dunlop formula r's, one set 205 and one set 225, the 225's are in better nick than the 205's. now just gotta get them to fit!! invested in some camber adjustment for front and rear to aid the fitting process, also got a panel beater lined up down the road to roll the gaurds all professional like. tomoro i will hopefully have the camber arms in and 2 of the 225's fitted so i can test fit them on the car |

lol ive got rims, them ugly sparco ones i painted black, they are just down at the garage getting the 225 semi slicks fitted. so i've got my concerns of clearance also, getting them under the gaurds being no 1 concern LOL i'll let you know how i get on, the bottom of the balljoint etc doesnt seem to sit any lower then the stock, guess the only worry would be the top of the arm hitting the chassis rail?? but id highly doubt it, in comparison to stock they arent at all as bulky as i thought they would be | |
