EVLVTC track project - turbo b18c update 4/10

Well after trying to turbo my integra and failing because i thought i would go cheap in a few places e.g the main parts haha.. which resulted in overboost to 22psi and blowing it to pieces..

So i got into ripping the engine out a brought another b18c to replace it and have another go but then i got a text asking if i wanted to swap the engine and turbo kit for a b18cr done just under 100000kms with custom itb's, crane stage 2 cams, dc sports 4 - 2 - 1, aem adjustable cam gears and a mugen high comp headgasket.. it put out 140kw @ the wheels on a road tune.. i would of been stupid to turn that down ..

I then chucked the engine in over a weekend and then had it running on wednesday which was my birthday so i was buzzed as apart from the toyota tps not wired up right lol.. So first thing thursday mornen took it to sam at pit stop and got the exhaust fixed up then drove it straight to total performance to get the tps sorted and then dyno'd

After waiting to the following week for tuning to start the car only put out 82kw @ the wheels i was like wtf.. so they compression tested it etc etc and it was all sweet and then they checked the timing out and what do you know it was out by a tooth.. so this is where im at now.. they goen to suss the timing tomorrow and finsh tuning il post up pictures of dyno graphs and the engine etc etc when i get it back which im hoping tomorrow

if its got a thinner head gasket and milled head u need to adjust the cam timing to suit it

is it hitting vtec on the dyno? check the oil pressure at different revs

is the ecu throwing any codes?

there should be nothing machanical wrong with the motor unless u have changed somthing? , i drove it to speed factor and they took it out, same day u came and got it, i think its either your wiring or the ecu, or anything else thats changed between the two cars?
keep us informed dude

What ECU did the car run with 140kw?

Putting in a different ECU will change everything! If you have a link with a poor tune (or your turbo tune) then yes it will put out 83kw!

Id attribute your problems to wiring and/or ecu.

Apparently theres burnt tracks or something on the pcb in that link right?

If I were you Id look at swapping that out even if only temporarily
