Location: Auckland | shouldve kept the turbo  83kw thats definately not rite, ur big cam even engaging? for a motor to make that little power it must be something major... unless uve got some seriously stuffd comprssion or no big cam then cant really think why u would loose that much power, did you plug ur standard ecu back in.. any noticible power difference sounds like ur engine is munted  does the motor sound normal, sound like its missing or any unusual rattle/vibrations

Location: Tauranga | So you changed the motor into another car, same dizzy leads and spark plugs? If not look there. their could be VERY bad grounding, Fuel Filter or fuel blocks, stuffed fuel pump (if lean out is the prob but don't think so here) Engine timing, and/or stuffed dizzy/coil/ignitor Slipping clutch? Not engaging vtec? Link sensing HEAPS of knock when their infact is none (try disable knock sensor) (hope your tuner has detonation headphones!!) These are just a few areas to look for |

| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | its probably something simple like the link being in the wrong programme mode, like using MAP instead of TPS to run the car.. there are lots of little settings which can make a big difference to the program, which will make the car run like crap..

What about the settings as Gary said? Hence me referring to the knock sensor also, (I.E check all link settings) Shoulda just run a chipped ECU or hondata for it anyways (easier to tune I reckon!) | |
