Im going to use the integra loom for the engine side of things but the civic loom in the car. Because the civic isnt vtec I need to know where to wire the vtec solinoid wire too.. etc. Ill figure it out I guess.

ummm might be a stupid question, but why the hell are you guys looking at obd0 diagrams for ef/da?

If you're going to link to ffsquad sourced pictures created by the infamous 'katman', may as well go to the source...

Quite right you are, didn't bother looking at the top of that pic.

Theres the knock sensor.

The O2 Sensor is in the exhaust manifold and the Vtec solinoid is on the end of the head (distributor end)

Yeh u will need to add wires to 02, knock, vtec soliniod. BUt don't bother with the pressure swtich as ITR motor doesn't run one.

im guessing u using a conversion harness for an ITR ECU?

P.S in those interior pics i can see a cup holder by the gear shifter, push that down and cup holders pop up. Unless for some weird reason yours doesn't have em?

Yeah some of them look like they have cup holders but they;re just blanked out. Nothing a trip to strongs or pick-a-part shouldnt be able to sort out.

Well hired a engine crane and got both engines out on sunday but as we were lifting the b18cR into the civic oil started pissing out of the lifter and she wouldnt lift no more. So they are fixing it and hopefully will have both engines in next weekend. Exhausts dont bolt up after a test fit but that doesnt bother me as was planning to get a 2.5 inch mandrel made anyway. And will just cut and well the d flange to the integra exhaust so she will bolt up nice and good. Also got the clutch in. Took awhile to line the fucker up as we didnt have a clutch aligning tool. Also found a leak and think its why my car idle was pulsing. Also there is a catch can to the left of the intake manifold. it has a line going from manifold to can and then back to manifold on right side. There is also another line coming out of catch can but havent bothered looking to where this goes.
Thanks for the wiring info everyone.
Oh yeah dr Repower had used some sort of metal glue instead of a gasket between my exhaust and headers is this normal?? heres some pics.

The hole in vac line.

Teg With engine in

Civic Engine in.

Out With The D16a

Nice and bare ready for a good clean.

Extractors 4>1 Could do with a good clean too.

Teg Engine bay rather filthy

Is it normal for a flywheel to look like this with these patches? They from clutch slipping?

My $109 clutch after 6 months driving. Slipped like a bitch from day one.

LSD y0? Could see through to the shaft on other side. Just couldnt be fucked taking it out just too take a straight through pic haha.

So what do you think? Any suggestions etc??

Haden

WOA iv never seen an engine come out at such a dodgy angle with a crazy array of straps!!!!

About the carbon canister
u put one line into the back on the intake manifold on the passengers side
then one big line into the top of the throttle body. Can't remember where others go off hand but start with that.

about the exhaust gasket. Well at the head there should be a metal gasket for the headers

Your flywheel looks like there were some hotspots?

About the glue between your header collector and exhaust. I have the same. Didn't have the ITR donut so used that glue/sealant thing instead. As long as it doesnt leak then its ok.

you should take the engines out from the bottom and put it back in from the bottom its so much easier and safer.
when my engine goes in Im gonna have blankets and stuff in the enginebay dont wanna scratch it LOL

Well have done a little bit now. Should be up and running soon. Took peoples advice and had the fly wheel shaved.

Also these bad boys arrived. After about a 3 week wait. Had ordered buddy club cam gears but after paying for them was told that they werent made yet and would have to wait for 6 weeks.

Also the interior is coming along nicely. Would hate to hear what the old couple who used to own the car would say if they saw it now.

Got both the engines bolted in now although only have the 3 main mounts on as it was getting dark and I was getting lazy.
The civic engine doesnt have much room around it and took ages to get into the civic. But the integra engine only took us about 10 mins to get it in and all lined up.
Will hopefully get the civic running this weekend.
Does anyone know if the d16a civic has the same fuel pump as a dc2 or if the dc2 one is better.

And the integras engine bay now.. Looks sad compared to what it was..

Also found this bar in the integra bolted to the steering rack. Some kind of strut bar. Civic didnt have one so I took it out and bolted it into the civic. Guess it makes the car handle a little better.

Well thats about all for now. Cant wait to have it up and running. Clutch feels like its going to be fun on the street. So hard pushing the pedal in even.

What do you think so far guys?
