Green/charcoal-ish like the EG in the background of the last pic?

An olive drab with silver pearl -

Spoon yellow?

Midori green? Played out on H-T hatches, but yet to see a sedan in it, or a car in NZ with it.

I think my NZDM EF was sort of that colour, well maybe a little lighter.

Too true, didn't think of that. Think that colour was on the NZDM EG charts too. Maybe I didn't pick the best Midori pic. It's usually greener than that.

Right colour has been decided

The cars going to be the chocolate brown from the dc teg I posted. I reckon its far enough away from vinnas colour and I think the cars have enough of a difference in other areas.
Fair enough? let me hear it either way please.

I have some colour samples which are apparently pretty close and hopefully will have the gaurds test painted soon-ish.

jks, been waiting for this build thread, should look mint after all that work done.
Make sure you dont fuck up any of the paint, i just had my rear bumper painted (out of the same pot) and its a darker colour

What pistons will you be using? also how much power are you going for?

Post up pics of the paint as soon as you have some :wink:

Sounds like you had colour in the clear... I had that on the last car I had painted... always had to panel paint it, luckily I never needed touchups.

Pistons probably JE's.

Forged pistons (probably JE's unsure of oversizing till I see the state of teh bores)
OEM or acl bearings (non big gaps if acl)
Stock crank/sleeves
Probably arp head studs
Stock cams
Stock valve train
Hondata intake gasket
Usual new pumps/bearings/gaskits/balancing
DVM flywheel
~2000 pound pressure plate
Full face clutch plate
edelbrock inlet + TB
AEM fuel rail/reg
FC 550's
Sticking with the BB T28 but up the boost out of it.
APEXi PowerFC
HKS Cam gears

Eh thats pretty much it just a freshen up with forged internals nothing too crazy.

Looking for 200wkw...

Very nice car, you can't build the engine get a aftermarket inlet mani cam gears etc and only aim for 200kws its wrong. Gt2871r .86 is calling you.

Yeah is a nice colour saw Vinnas in Manukau the other day.

The car was a hand full with its previous setup, im not looking to make 300wkw in a fwd civic, its pointless. Bascally not looking for a lot of power but I want the capability of it for the future. Mayeb later Ill smack a big turbo on it but for now, im just going to strecth the legs of the t28 a bit.

Got a sketch of the cam cover design today... I kinda what keep it a bit of a secret if I can though, should be funny when done

Picked up new igntion loom and main relay plug. Could of salvaged them but screw it new > fixed.

in a few years time it will be, whats the paint code on hayces civic, i want that colour and the hayce lip!!!!!

however, im surprised you actually gave a toss and asked for opinions on here about a colour choice, im sure you said to me once, fuck what other cunts thought, my colour will be better?! more colourful langauge though.
