Wasn't really worried about gear ratio's so much as the fact of if I blow the box, which is likely the way I drive, then the custom flywheel is useless, whereas if I get a b series box up in hurr, there's stronger gear sets, and all else, off the shelf.

And Bananaman, I imagine someone could custom something up, at the end of the day, I'm still only going h engine to b box... Although I have absolutely no idea about the shifter rods or whatever the fuck they are in a b series car.

Yup, don't know how you would get on making an H (or F in your case) car run a b series gearbox as the kits AFAIK were made for B series cars.

Would make for a hell of a hand full tho!

IMO the H box is just as strong for FI
if u blow it go for a non vtec f22 box..

Yeah but if I blow it, I have to change the flywheel aswell, as it will be custom apparently. I'd rather do it once and be able to get
hardened gearsets and all if I have to.

If you go for the H>B you will need the kit for bolting up the box, which includes all the flywheel / clutch spacers etc.
You should be able to get it a little cheaper as all the mounts are no good to you. You will then need all 4 (3 if you don't have the front one) custom mounts made to position the gearbox in the idea place to suit axles (which will more than likely be custom aswell)

Not to mention the cost of a decent box to start with. IMO not worth it as Ian said the H box should be fine for FI and if it breaks easier to get another cheap one.
