Eleven Commandments of the New Zealand Honda Club, NZHondas.com

1) Ensure that your new topics are in the correct forum.

• NZH - General

• Announcements contains important notices of all kinds. If there is a new topic in this forum you should read it at once;
• General Discussion is for anything to do with Honda or Motor Sport that does not fit into another category;
• Meets contains up and coming events organised by the club or its members. The forum has four sub forums, covering New Zealand, it also uses the Thread Prefix system so you'll know what meets have been confirmed or not. It is up to the person who starts the thread to maintain the prefixes;
• Forum Help/Feedback is for any feedback/errors you've encountered to do with the running of the NZHondas website/forum/profiles, or for any suggestions on how we could make them better;

• NZH - Off Topic

• The Pub is where people post pointless things to up their post count. Anything is allowed as long as it does not contain porn or content that could be offensive to everyone;
• Community Gallery is themed towards The Pub, but for static media. Same moderation rules apply;
• Goo-Tube is where people post videos to up their post count. Same rules apply in here as in Off-Topic, anything deemed to be offensive by any moderator will be removed;
• Hall of lol is where we put posts that have made most of us laugh. Generally these posts are of a mocking nature, and can appear a bit rough from the outset, but please don't take it to heart, it's just a bit of fun!

• NZH - Members

• New User Introductions is where your first posts should be made, let us know a bit about yourself, what you drive, what your ambitions are for your vehicle, that sort of thing;
• Build Threads if your embarking
• Exclusive Members from the outset, but please don't take it to heart, it's just a bit of fun!
• Testing pretty much speaks for itself. If you are new to the forum, make a few posts in there to find out what's what. Don't worry, all posts older than a few days are deleted automatically.

• NZH - Technical

• Tech Help is for technical issues with your Honda (Topics like Intake resonator in DC2 or Removing DA6 passenger seat);
• Competition is for modifications, tuning and driving techniques (Topics like 17" Mag times vs 15" or Tips before dragging);
• Handling ride height and sway bars? Post here (Topics like DA -> EG/DC Suspension Conversion or Recommended Bushes);
• NA Tuning anything related to NA engines in here (Topics like High Revs in a H22a or Throttle Body Enlarging);
• Forced Induction is for discussing superchargers, turbos and other FI setups (Topics like B18C turbo charging or Turbo VS Supercharger);
• Hybrid is for discussing the how to's in swapping engines (Topics like ZC-B16A conversion or B16A head on B18C);
• I.C.E. / Security is for discussing in car entertainment and car security (Topics like tweeter install in 89 CRX or Alarm Tilt Sensors);
• Cosmetic Mods is for discussing body kits, engine detailing, etc (Topics like EG9 Bodykits or Chromed valve cover?).

• NZH - TardMe

• Sponsor Products For our sponsors to post products in. DO NOT post in here unless you are an authorized club sponsor;
• Parts Exchange Buy sell or trade any and all car parts, use the sub forums that are available to you for better exposure. Thread prefixes are also in use here, so be sure to select the right one (Anything from camber kits to exhausts, or gauges and ducting to radar detectors and car stereos);
• Vehicle Exchange Buy sell or trade any and all types of vehicles (Honda, Non-Honda, wrecks etc);
• Bazaar Buy sell or trade anything that doesn't fit into the other for sale forums;

2) Do not post topics or replies containing:

• Subjects which have already been discussed numerous times (Please Search first, as these topics are locked on sight);
• Any material which violates or infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, statutory, common law or other proprietary rights of others;
• Flames directed towards other users (locked on sight, possibly with a temporary ban);
• Topics with the title in ALL-CAPS or other ***obnoxious*** characters;
• Thread titles that are unspecific, make it as indicative of the subject as possible;
• Any posts that are abusive towards the law enforcement fraternity;
• Insults towards moderators or admins will result in the users account instantly being made inactive;
• Images in quotes;
• Anything not relating to the original subject of the topic (although General Chat is rather flexible);
• Any derogatory comments based on age, gender, race, ethnicity or nationality (which will be met with a swift ban);
• Any material which is or contains anything obscene, pornographic, or offensive including links to such material;
• Any links to nzhondas.com pages with the www, as they can cause auto-login problems (the proper format is http://nzhondas.com/forum/);
• Any enquiries about the ownership of a vehicle, unless the owner permits it.

3) Do not promote your own site, unless:

• It's to show off something cool you've done with your car;
• It's a personal site;
• It's to help somebody find something they're looking for.

4) Do not post spam.

• Spam includes advertisements, content deemed inappropriate or illegal, and flooding of the boards;
• Spammers will receive a swift kick in the ass, as well as a lengthy ban.

5) Do not make needless, incessant usage of:

• Emoticons
• Line breaks or ALL-CAPS;
• Nested quotes;
• Giant fonts, Small fonts and ugly colours;
• Swearing or derogatory terms;
• l33t 5p3ak;
• ur psts r nt a txt, use proper english.

6) Do not make unrequested personal contact with Team NZHondas Members.

• Support may not be requested via instant messaging, private messaging or e-mail (Use the Suggestions / Feedback forum) unless specified otherwise;
• Your private messaging capability may be disabled if abused;
• A central list of IM, PM and e-mail abusers is kept, so repeat offenders will be banned.

7) Ensure that your signature:

• Remains a reasonable size;
• Does not contain any images;
• Follows all the rules applying to posts themselves.

8) Ensure that your avatar:

• Is not more than 129 pixels in width, or 103 pixels in height;
• Does not exceed 20kb in size;
• Does not contain annoying animations, anything that may be found offensive, or pornographic material.

9) Do not resurrect old threads without a good reason

• Doing so repeatedly will result in a ban;
• We leave old threads purely for an archival point of view, please don't ruin it for everyone else.

10) Do not argue with the enforcement of the above commandments.

• If any Team NZHondas Member tells you to comply with one of these rules, you must comply;
• If you argue the rules with a Team Member, you'll be warned, and all members of Team NZHondas will be notified;
• Keep it up, and you'll receive a ban.

• If you have any problems, just make a post in the appropriate forum, and somebody will be glad to help you;
