qauife diffs are torsen type geared diffs, ats and kaaz cusco etc are all plate type, way diff... the torsen type diffs work on gears inside, and if preloaded correctly will not clunk etc, but they are no where near as good a clutch pack diff, they dont lock up as well, an both axels need to have a torque input into the diff, if on wheel spins up or is in the air, the diff will not bind up, so once it spinning, you have to wait till they both have traction and then go again...
the clutch pack lock no matter what... sure theres a trade off in drivability but if its a tarc car then who care about of abit of noise and clunking, you wont get a diff that lock up better than a clutch pack diff
