Booyaa.
Slung the donk in over the weekend and it's all working out well.
I'm stoked with the clutch, it's heavy as hell, almost a bit much for the cable though.
Linkages are sweet and the short shifter feels nice and direct.
Next job is to mount my Ignition amp, remote filter and oil cooler (hint never buy a complete cooler kit they are a rip, I got new 300psi flame proof hose (in blue), all fittings, spin-on adapter and remote mount with filter canister for $175. I'm using a ford falcon tranny cooler which is identical to the B&M coolers on tardme at the moment and I got it for $15.) I had to drive all over town to ge tthe individual parts though.
Greenlane speedshop for the adaptors, Brass fitt engineering for the fittings, Ford Wrecker for the cooler, Hydralink for the hose.)
I got a D15b inner CV cup from pick a part to test my hybrid drive shaft idea more on that later.
The radiator is all mounted up and there is no more need for the slam panel and vertical as the bonnet will be pinned down so I made up an aluminium brace which will support the headlight surrounds and give somthing to fix the radiator bracket to.
The bottom radiator port now exits out he side of the tank which has allowed me to drop the rad further down and it makes removing the lower hose so much easier now.
I painted the overflow bottle black to hide it and plan to mount the mallory box on the other side of the pssenger side engine mount in the gap and a oil catch can off the passenger strut tower.
All vacuum lines were replaced with new Platinum cured Silicone hose.
Getting so close now, once I've re-wired the loom I'll run it in NA and then hook up the disco potato and well be rockin and rolling.
Sorry for the shitness of the pics (it's a phone afterall not a camera)
