I bailed from work for a couple of days to make the most of the weather and got the top coats on the engine bay.
This is the Duratec surfacing polyester primer.

This is the Dulon Midnight black ( I decided to ditch the pearl that the rest of the car has because it's so much eaiser to touch up in flat colour)

And this is with the final Two Pack polyester clear coat, shiny as all hell.

Problem is i used new icecream containers to mix the paint is and the Acetone thinner must have stripped a microscopic amount of wax out of the plastic and there is a fish eying problem with the top coat. You cant see it in thephotos but it's there and it pissed me right off after four days labour prepping and about $250 bucks worth of paint.
Ah well shit happens, it'll be all covered in shit soon anyway.
Next step, slich the donk back in.
I've also painted the subframes.
