Some problems you may run in to:

When listening to DVD, being able to match volume of the front and rear speakers

Subs will be playing the radio and will need to overpower the rear DVD speakers

The DVD output being suitable as input for the Panasonic unit

Heaps of room for rear speakers in the doors. Make up an MDF baffle for the big hole at the bottom front of the door. Cut a hole in the door card, fit a carpeted spacer to the door card to finish it off, then add the speaker grill to the spacer.
