NZHondas NZPC Feature Car Club

After Ians recent centerfold Car porn photoshoot I thought it might be a good iadea to have club for all the NZHonda members who have been featured in the NZPC Mag

Kinda like the allmoter scoreboard etc but it should be for all of our club members that have made a feature in the NZPC.
Sticky it to the General discusion page with the pic of the cover of the magazine they feature in and a few Details, and wammo your in the Club. I am sure we would have a few members already.

Just an idea. What do we all think?

i was mor thinking along the lines of a feature car every month/couple of months. have people enter by submiting photos etc to a nominated person. then take 2 peoples rides then have a pole to decide who gets the feature car. then have a sticky with detailed specs on the car and a discussion with the owner about this and that.

I tell yah what i will make a start and see how I get on.

What i need is any member that has Had a car Featured in NZPC to PM with there.

Name (Real name) and user name
Car Details
Magazine number, date, issue etc
Cars current status. ie. Sold, any further mods since feature Etc

I will Email NZPC and see if they still have the covers on file and see if they can Email them to me and I will start peicing it together.

Put it on a page seperate from the forums, and maybe along side the banner (or anywhere else for that matter) on the forums have a random link with image of the cover show up :?:

yeah i have a huge stack of them, i will have a look tonight. i know alot have hondas in them and i know a couple are from here.

I don't know what the legality of it would be, but I'm sure that if we waited a month before hosting up the latest ones, NZPC wouldn't mind.

If people can get some high res scans to me of the features, that would be tops, and we can go from there..

This is *kinda* already done on the home page with featured members profile would be an extension of that?

I prefer the idea of all all the cars with magazine features, credit where credits due sort of thing :shrugs: would be easier too as someone else gets to decide who goes in it. IE the magazine people...

I agree. although HD's idea does have its merit, it kinda waters down the achievment of a Magazine feature.

I have some issues with Track Days & the GoAuto feature, etc.

what if your car only been snapped from the last track day, but not actually been featured like my car that was on the recent NZPC magazine?
