    HOW-TO: Reporting Posts

Right, for those of you that didn't know, this forum has a 'Report Post' function. This means that if you see a post that you think the Mod team should have a look at (If the post is blatant spam, is promoting illegal behavior, or is in the wrong section or whatever) you can click the button and it will let us know, and we will get around to it when we can. It saves a lot of pissing around and will generally get stuff done faster.

    HOW-TO: Reporting Posts

Just to expand on this, as there is a large number of people doing this incorrectly...

It is probably no secret that there is a dedicated 'mod forum'. There are a plethora of conspiracy theories surrounding it, however one thing that you should know is that all of your reported posts create a thread in a sub-forum that all moderators are able to read and act upon.

    How do I report posts?

As above, under each post is a wee icon with an exclamation mark. Click it and you'll be taken to a page that allows you to input a reason for reporting the post, and it will be forwarded to the mod-team for review.

When do I report a post?

    - When a post has breached the forum rules, i.e. spam, abuse, obscene image, OTT font/txt-speak.
    - When you require a post or thread of your own to be moderated, i.e. shifted, deleted, renamed. However, please ensure you cannot already do this by editing your post.
    - When you note a post or thread of someone elses that needs to be moderated, i.e. thread in the wrong section, double post.

    When don't I report a post?

As stupid of a question as this may sound, there is a worrying number of forum users who don't seem to grasp the definition of 'report':

    - Do not use it to reply to a post.
    - Do not use it to PM a user.
    - Do not use it to try and make a Team NZHondas member reply to a thread, as if we are some source of infinite knowledge.
    - If you have a clear hatred toward someone, we do eventually pick up on it... please have a justified reason for wanting posts removed. 'Useless bollocks' is generally not a valid reason.

    Kind regards and titty cakes,
