Creating an album

Hi anyone willing to help please?
I've been trying to upload an album for my forsale thread, but everytime I try to upload the pictures a pop up comes up and says that they are nine hundred and something MB over the allowance. Not sure what I'm doing wrong I think my photos are about 700kb each and there is 3 of them.
Can anyone give me some tips?

Could be related but I'm having some issues with the new setup, may just be my computer though, cannot get all the options available on a page to fit on the screen, took me about an hour to realise that I had to scroll across to find the my profile link as it was off on its own out in space to the rhs.

700kb might be too big?

make them smaller, pictures for forums shouldnt be more than 1200x800 in general (they get scaled on this forum) and more than about 400kb as its just wasting peoples bandwidth.

Nah i think it could be new update to be honest. As i know a few other people having problems exactly like that. However related

I tried to upload a 3mb JPG and it spent about 5minutes uploading data then it stoped and 10 minutes later it was still sitting there and it hadnt shown it had uploaded anything. no errors. Bot quiet related to the first post just thought i would mention it.

and yes i know 3mb is huge i was just seeing if i could replicate the OP's error with a large file

Fixed now. Setting fail, missed a zero off the end...
