Thread: Advanced Clutch Kits

Hey Ya'all - one of the best clutch kits value-for-money wise that we sell is Advanced Clutch. There's quite a few of these kits on Nissan and Mitsubishi's here now but we've not pushed them for the Honda crew just yet, hence this thread! They make a range of applications from uprated replacement kits through to tough street / race applications. They are also one of the few brands of clutch retailers that is pretty open and descriptive when it comes to detailing information about their clutch specs, feel and performance!

Their site is relatively easy to navigate although they have the old 'Acura' lists rather than 'Honda' so I will try to make it easy for you. If your engine type isn't listed below just ask me and I will look for it, or you can hunt on your own by going to:

Thanks for the PM's. I'll give this a bump, these are very very good kits at well under half the price of a comparable Japanese option, for the same specs!

Today we have the AI4-SPMM Street performance clutch kit (cover and disc) for B-Series engines (DOHC, B18C1/5, B16A/B) for $649 delivered!

Latest update, Advanced Clutch has overtaken Exedy (which includes J's, JUN) here as the most popular Honda clutch kit. Of course the likes of Carbonetics / OS Giken / HKS don't feature as their Honda line up is either overkill / non-existent! With the US$ still good for us Kiwis (I had feared it was going to crash post Budget) they're cheap race clutch options!

New B and K-Series Twin Plate clutches have been released. Prices TBC!
