hahaha, i'll see what i can do Matty.

I work for Stone Brothers Racing and i run the CNC Machine shop here, program and run the machines that produce all the parts for the car basically. Pretty cool job and allows me to do all the work on my car too, the bosses are very encouraging of it, although they do struggle with the fact that my honda makes more power than there race cars! lol

here's a video of the 10.08 run from jamboree that a mate got, quaility is a little rough and it really doesn't look that impressive against an 8 second corolla. lol

Oh what lol I think I must have confused your car firing off for the corolla still winding up my bad! In that case, Corolla sounds the sex, rotary goes a long way towards explaining the fact though ha

Not really, have only run the car once since jamboree at a test and tune and the track was nowhere near as well prep'd, had to dial the boost back considerably in the lower gears to get it too hook up. had 4 runs best being a 10.29 and worst a 10.37, on the last run for the night i bumped the rev limit up another 100 revs and it run a MPH pb of 148.1mph on the rev limit again.lol

Now i'm just waiting for it to cool down and we'll head out again, there is a big meeting on the 28th april when the track should be well prepared so that will probably be the next meeting for it.

    cheers

wow, Bruce, you're a legend! Still around on the NZ honda scene putting in ya updates in terms of records! Nice! This car is a fascinating setup, nothing overly done, nothing too hardcore, still runing some OEM parts as well! Good to see the car is still holding up great! This is pretty much the fastest street legal and road registered street honda in NZ isn't it? Even before it went over the ditch, it was doing some super quick times. There has been a couple features on this vehicle in the past in magazines, think its even had a NZPC feature many moons ago IIRC.

Ronnie was 9.88, and Bruce is in Aussie now.

From memory Ronnie's trap was 236km/h (146.6mph), so you've beaten that, well done.

yea, i think the 9.88 is a little out of reach with the current setup, maybe on a really good track. but realisticly if i can get a 9.99 and 150+mph out of the old girl i'll probably retire it from drag duties.

I would love to have another crack at it in new zealand with this setup, and the plan had always been for the car to return to NZ but it is looking less and less likely that it will go back now.
