Is it legal to shave the side indicators completely off?
im looking at doin this on my eg9 but no point if its illegal and wof will pick it up

as far as i read the VIR rule it goes like this
from how i understand how its worded you can remove them, but it would pay to check with VTNZ or the WOF guy first

2. A vehicle other than class LE (trike) first registered anywhere on or after 1/7/1967 must be fitted with one or two pairs of lamps to the front and
one or two pairs of lamps to the rear of the vehicle.

i noticed on n15 pulsars that some have side indicators and some don't. the ones that don't have a slightly different front indicator mould with a small piece that kinda juts out...

and this is what they look like with side indicators:
so maybe you could shave the side indicator and get a front indicator that has the smal jutty out bit thing stuff yeh.
nope you dont need them on an EG already talked to VTNZ about this an aslong as you can see the front indicators from side on u dont need side ones or something to that effect
