Fair enough, but the "I could be driving an E30 M3 or a Sierra Cosworth for the same price plus have change left over for a daily" factor would stop me. Horses for courses I guess.

Yes, the 'do want' comment was with regards to the car itself - if money were no object. I agree at that asking price there are other cars that would be higher up the to-buy list that that Morgan. I still like it though
Who me? Never! Nuh-uh, not me, you've got the wrong guy...![]()

My aunt and uncle own a Morgan. Ridiculously un-nerving to drive. Probably due to the driving rain and inadequate wipers not to mention the 30 degrees of float before the steering wheel did anything!
Thats mr burns car!

It looks like the sort of car that you would buy to simply say you have, and people ask "what the fuck is that?". It allows you to baffle them with a nonsensical history lecture that brings into question the cars structural integrity and mechanical reliability, if they had not already made that judgement by looking at it. You never drive it yourself because it is simply too unstable, and replacement parts are either hand-made or found via searching backyards in rural UK in Google Maps, and getting a distant relative to go and haggle with them before sending it off to NZ (only to have it break during shipping, requiring you to send it back to the UK to get fixed).
'there is no patch for stupidity.'
Its made of wood and metal, just rock down to Mitre 10 and your sorted. Shit its only a 1980, its not that much older than an EF.
I was gunna use unnecessarily large words, but then I didnt
You can be anything you like on the internet, so why do some many people choose to be stupid?

Buy beware!! I was not expecting perfection, Stupidly perhaps, I assumed the photos and description fairly represented the car. Sorry not willing to proceed with the transaction, you have misrepresented it's condition. Who put the new wof on it with rusted out doors? Good luck, honest car dealer!
trader responded: 30 Jun 2010
You where making excuses before you even saw the car. Minor rust in bottom of a door on a 24 year old car. Quite visible in the photo. You said if you don't give me bad feedback i won't give you bad feedback! Is ours deserved? No it isn't. You bid without even looking, ringing or asking a question! All other bidders viewed and accepted condition before bidding. Honest builder!

Yeah, without knowing all the details, can't really say with much confidence who is in the wrong.
Do I have the place for you guys!!!
But it's in CHCH![]()
I test drove it this morning. No VTEC but the oil was very low so probably why. Sales guy said he'll top it up. Apart from that its in very good condition. No crunches in the gearbox, good tyres, minimal cosmetic damage with only some paint fading. Am thinking seriously about buying it if it doesn't go above my budget.
